Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service govern the use of the Joliboo platform, accessible at joliboo.fr and its mobile applications.

Joliboo is a marketplace connecting individuals ("Customers") seeking home services with independent service providers ("Providers").

2. Registration and Account

Registration is free and open to any individual aged 18 or older. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Each person may only create one account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Joliboo reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in case of violation of these Terms, fraud, or abusive behavior.

3. Platform Role

Joliboo acts as a technical intermediary. The platform facilitates connections but is not a party to the service contract between the Customer and the Provider.

Joliboo is not an employer of Providers and does not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or outcome of services.

4. Commissions and Payments

Joliboo charges a commission on each successful transaction. The rate is displayed before booking confirmation.

Payments are secured through Stripe Connect. Joliboo does not store any banking data.

The Provider receives payment after confirmation of service completion, minus the commission.

5. User Obligations

Customers: accurately describe the desired service, respect agreed schedules, make payments through the platform.

Providers: hold necessary qualifications and insurance, honor commitments, maintain an up-to-date profile.

It is prohibited to: bypass the payment system, publish unlawful content, harass other users, use fake reviews.

6. Reviews and Ratings

After each service, both parties may leave a review. Reviews must be honest, factual, and respectful.

Joliboo reserves the right to moderate or remove abusive, defamatory, or manifestly false reviews.

7. Liability

Joliboo shall not be held liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the platform or the performance of a service.

In case of dispute between a Customer and a Provider, Joliboo offers a mediation service but is not required to resolve the dispute.

8. Intellectual Property

All platform content (design, logos, text, code) is the property of Joliboo SAS and is protected by intellectual property law.

Users retain ownership of their content (photos, reviews) but grant Joliboo a non-exclusive license to use it on the platform.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your settings. Deletion results in the anonymization of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Outstanding financial obligations remain due after termination.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, the competent courts are those of the jurisdiction of Joliboo SAS's registered office, unless otherwise provided by law.
